In 2011, Veneta Cucine became the first (and only) brand to introduce BBS®—the exclusive antibacterial treatment known as Bacteria Blocker Silver-guard. This treatment is applied to all surfaces that come into direct contact with food, including cooking surfaces, frames, cabinets, and drawers. One of the most innovative features is the BBS® Bacteria Blocker Silver-guard, developed to combat bacteria using silver ions. The treatment is applied to surfaces, reducing bacterial growth by 99.9%. In other words, bacteria are first neutralized and then prevented from multiplying, ensuring they completely disappear from food-contact surfaces.
